Phil has over 40 years’ experience in Financial Services having started in the industry in 1984. Following Account Manager roles at both Albany Life and Scottish Amicable, he joined Beechwood in 1998 before becoming a partner in the practice a year later.

Phil is currently one of the three Directors in the practice and is classed as a Pensions specialist. He uses this expertise to provide clients with Pension and Retirement Planning advice as well as on their investment portfolios. He remains a qualified member of the Personal Finance Society.

Outside of work Phil enjoys playing or watching most sports and going to the theatre. He is also an avid fan of Leeds United Football Club although he blames his lack of hair on this! Phil is married with 3 children but at 6 ft 8 inches tall you may be surprised to read that he is not the tallest member of the Beechwood team.
